Product Description

This motor is the direct replacement for many Rheem, Ruud, and Weatherking Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps. Mounts with screws in the motor shell, through-bolts, or band-around bracket. The shaft is 1/2" diameter X 4-1/4" long. The motor shell is 5-5/8" diameter (48 frame) and the motor body length is 4". The four wire leads are 42" long with quick connect terminals. Can be used with 3 or 4 wire hookup. This motor requires a 5 MFD - 370 VAC run capacitor which is not included. Commonly the motor run capacitor used in original equipment is a dual capacitor which is shared with the compressor. If the dual capacitor has failed, then it must be replaced as a unit.
